tonight we're having..
Random Snacks I Had at Magic Night
quick entry today because it's soooo late
me and a few friends play magic on friday nights. i had a pretty good day today, very efficient workday then i went out to buy some christmas presents, then home again to pack for my flight home tomorrow. busy day! not much time to do a proper review. tonight we played secret santa decks we picked for eachother. as we were in our second hour of the game, all our life totals still in the 30s, i realised i'm not gonna get to review what i wanted to tonight
so here's the next best thing, assorted magic night snacks
the barbeque flavour corn with a funny garlic guy on it (yet no specified garlic taste, curious), is, as you can probably imagine, barbeque flavoured crunchy corn. it's really not that interesting. i grabbed it from the same asian store i kept referencing throughout past reviews (its this one and then one more and that's it for my stock from there), though i didn't expect it to be interesting enough for a review. the nerds are just standard nerds, also uninteresting
do they go togteher though? do they function paired together akin to cards in a deck building strategy card game?? is there 1+1=3 type synergy to them? or are they just something to chew on and forget you're being board wiped at the third hour of the game with life totals still in the 20s (we're playing commander). well, they cancel eachother out so hard actually. like, you can get a mouthful of nerds and annihilate any memory you've even had of barbeque corn. then you have some more barbeque corn and not even be able to comprehend what a nerd is. and then again and again. it's so surprising how much they override eachother like that. zero chemistry, forget about a tango these two don't even glance at eachother from accross the room
my notes on the matter end here, interrupted by a final remark
final rating - [░▒▓▓██--------------] : 5.8/20
they're both actually great to chew in the mic while resolving a warp world
i did play red tonight so it must've known. it must have
