Chubby Blueberry & Chubby Grape

bit of a different thing going on today: my snack queue has run dry, so before i resupply, here's a review i wrote back june when visiting the netherlands that i've kept in a textfile on my desktop ever since. it was meant to end up on this website but never got around to it

purple

it smells like the most intense grape flavour you have ever smelled in your life. the images aren't do justice to how purple this drink is, i have never seen a liquid so purple before, it's very on theme

we're two for two on "most x ever" so far. going great

it tastes a little dusty?, like it leaves your tongue dry after you drink it. it's incredibly artificial tasting but its Extremely flavoured, not necessarily in a bad way. a 500ml bottle of this would kill someone though, i am not finishing this bottle in one sitting

you can kinda tell it's incredibly, painfully cheap. paid under an euro for a bottle, somewhere around 70 cents i think. paints a bit of a picture of the lab this was concocted in originally

10 hours in update: i peed like 4 times last night. mere correlation or causation too? we may never know

blue

it smells like bubblegum flavour, but worse, sweeter, and cheaper

i guess it kind of tastes like blueberry? its a much more pleasant experience, but i cant tell what it tastes like at all. its much easier to drink though, but whatever it tastes like it has the same sort of aftertaste like the purple one

honestly they're both very pleasantly fizzy, speaking as someone who usually dislikes fizzy drinks

this is actually quite alright, i could see myself finishing the bottle (i probably won't). the grape one was way heavier on you, much more intense, the blue one is way lighter. it tastes kind of just like sweet though, semi flavoured. you kinda have to focus on it to make out blueberry; or blue at least. kind of ice cream-y?

both have a clear common chubby element of chemical warfare lab. as opposed to the grape one, the blueberry one doesnt fire off the instinct that i should Not be drinking this, it's decent. alright even

which way, western man?

shortly after being done with my review, i mixed them. the purple one just kind of overpowers it if you're blending 1:1. the more blue you add the more it just tastes of chemical sweet. i won't die for this
