you've found..

a christmas cracker

it's now the evening of the 8th so i'm just finishing up my advent side quest for today, here is:

a christmas cracker!

thank you mrs. hannah weir for the how to. expectedly this was pretty easy to make though twisting the wrapping paper turned out to be quite annoying

fun fact, for about two or three years after i've moved to the uk, hearing about christmas crackers i would always assume you'd mean biscuits. like, y'know, crackers, but the kind you have at christmas or something. i think it took my girlfriend mentioning christmas crackers as we were having or maybe very close to a time we had actual christmassy biscuits for me to question the essence of the christmas cracker. there is so much to learn in this world

anyway, i knew holding on to a handful of empty toilet paper rolls around. nobody can ever tell me anything anymore about stuff i deem useful. i wish i had some nicer string though but the only thing i could find is twine. just another glimpse in the spartanic ways men live

did i put a prize in it? what, did you think we're running an amateur show here? of course i put a prize in. what is it? oh, dear reader, nosy tonight, aren't we! that's for me to know and for my girlfriend to find out :)

sure, i'll give mom another call tonight

the chocolate was caramel which is the last one we didn't rate. hmm, it's probably a little too sweet for me

final rating - [░░░▒▒▒▓▓▓███--------] : 12.4/20

ranking? the plain comes out on top with 14.6, followed by the orange with 13.6, caramel at 12.4, and finally mint at 9.2. in retrospect i'd probably bump the plain down to 14.2 but otherwise this is pretty solid

what, light on the bone again? fine, here are my omegaverse quiz results

and my girlfriend's (wow her third mention in one post? it's almost like we spend time together or something, like after five years our lives would be intrinsically connected or something)

i'm probably more educated on abo lore than the median voter but i don't think i know enough to interpret these results, however, northernlion got the same outcome so i guess i'm happy enough with it. now that we're both certified loner alphas i should probably start calling him ryan though
