you've found..

some bleached magic cards

wanted to share something i have going on in the background. for some time now-- hold on, i can check actually. ok. for 256 days now, these two cards have been inside a couple toploaders glued to my bedroom window sunbleaching. i was sure i had another unbleached geist and wolf here at home but it looks like all my other copies are in the uk. i added another random green card behind so you can have a better point of comparison to what the frame at least looked like originally. i think these are coming out great, the geist at least looks fantastic. i don't really have an end date in sight and i'm a pretty patient guy so they'll stay in my window for a While. maybe i can post some infrequent updates every so often on their state

hmm, come to think about it now i think it'd be cool to try and sunbleach some other cards, maybe of different colors too. i really went for the geist because it's one of my all time favorites (and the wolf is kind of in the same vein) and i also thought it'd look cool there, but now i'm thinking what would cards of other color look like. a deck of nothing but sunbleached cards would be cool. lots to think about!
