tonight we're having..
Casali Schoko-Bananen

i was always fascinated by these... candies? eh? chocolates? not really? sweets? i suppose. but as a kid my mom would never buy them for me so i eventually kind of forgot about them. i saw them today on a quick store run looking for garlic thinking i need to find something cool for the advent and i figured yeah, the time has come

they open like a box of cuban cigars i find that so funny
i'm so pleasantly surprised by them. i kind of expected them to be tougher, but they're soft and spongy. it's like you're eating something that actually came out of a banana, as opposed to most banana-based snacks whose "banana flavour" tastes more like "banana flavour" than like banana. the purée/sponge/whatever filling is a little tangy and blends oh so well with the dark chocolate around it, honestly such a solid snack
i will be chasing this high
